We meet the needs (basic, emergency, and inclusive)
of children in Florida foster care.
The Florida Legislature funding for foster care
simply supports the basic housing and food for these children.
The Foundation helps to provide clothes, school supplies,
emergency needs, and, most importantly,
inclusion activities in support of a normal childhood.
The Need is Great
There are currently over 1,700 children
in the foster care system in the 7th Judicial Circuit,
which is made up of four counties: Flagler, Putnam, St. Johns, and Volusia.
These children are suddenly removed from all they know,
often with just the clothes on their backs.
